. Salvatore Fedele
Sal Fedele served in the U.S. Army February 1967 – 1970. His Basic Training took place at
Ft. Gordon located next to Augusta, Georgia.
Basic Training was followed by Advanced Infantry Training at Ft. Leonard Wood located in
the Missouri Ozarks. Training was followed by a two year assignment with the 3 rd
th
Squadron 14 Cavalry in Germany.
From May 1969 – 1970 Sal’s military service was located in Vietnam serving as an E-5
st
Communication Sergeant with the 326 Engr. Bn., 101 Airborne at Camp Eagle and LZ
Sally.
