Vietnam Veterans of America

Thomas J. Tori Chapter 421
P.O. Box 100097

Staten Island, NY 10310

Welcome All!

The Officers and Members of the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 421
would like to take this opportunity to thank family members and friends who are
th
here this evening celebrating with us our Chapter’s 25 Anniversary.

We would also like to thank in a special way all those who solicited and
purchased ads in our Journal. Speaking of our Journal, Richie Chan a personal
friend and fellow Vietnam Veteran (member of Chapter 72 in Brooklyn) was the
designer of the Journal. “Richie, we thank you for a great job, I know I drove

you crazy, my apologies.”

This evening for your listening and dancing pleasure we are honored to have the
band, Midnight Hour. I know you all will have a great time being entertained by
them. Midnight Hour has entertained us at prior dances. Oh, and one of its
members is our own Nicky Castoro, a man of many hats. He is also the Captain
of our Chapter’s prestigious Honor Guard. Midnight Hour has also recorded a

song called “Honor Them All” about those who paid the ultimate sacrifice in
Vietnam. Many of you present have heard this song at our Memorial
Ceremonies conducted at our Vietnam Memorial Park on Manor Road.

On a personal note, I would like to thank our Chapter President Gene
DiGiacomo and Chapter Board member Frank Sansone for the great job they

did in organizing the dinner/dance. I can assure you this is not an easy task.
Kudos to both.

In closing, once again our heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped in
th
celebrating our 25 Anniversary. Please arrive home safe. God Bless All and
God Bless the greatest country in the world, Our United States of America.
