A MESSAGE TO MY BROTHERS & SISTERS
12/22
Dear Brothers and Sisters
Once again, the Holiday Season is upon
us and the new year to follow. It is the time when we can enjoy our
loved ones, both family and friends,
in the traditional way this beautiful country has afforded us.
I guess it is safe to say that we are all now well
into our senior years. Yes, I know that hurts especially when those
words “Golden Years” pop up.
I personally take exception to them especially
when my grandson calls me out to throw the football around or the wife
says it’s time to go outside and put out all the Christmas decorations.
What used to be easy now takes deep thought and hard planning along with
whatever meds needed to soothe the aftermath.
On the brighter side look at what we have accomplished. Despite what
Mother Nature and Uncle Sam have thrown at us “WE ARE STILL HERE”. And
because of that, look at what we have, family, friends, and ourselves,
brotherhood included.
So, my message is short. We were not afforded a pause or stop button so
let us enjoy what we have.
We have all made our marks in life, so it is time to encompass that and
enjoy what we have.
Always put some time aside to remember the ones that are no longer with
us.
Do not let the past consume you, enjoy the now and leave the future to
the young, it is their turn now.
