DD-214s can now be
obtained online. The National Personnel Records Center
(NPRC) provides the following website for veterans to gain
access to their DD-214s online:
http://vetrecs.archives.gov. This is an
easier way for veterans to get copies of documents in
their military files. Please note that this
facilitates the entering of information to obtain the
requested document and will not provide the document online.
Using this method eliminates the step of printing the
standard 180 form and mailing it to NPRC.
