Hi Everybody
I hope this message finds you all in good health. In the latest news all I can say is “YES, FINALLY WE’RE BACK”. After 7 months of living in seclusion, working on all kinds of honey do lists, and selling out all the wineries, we are back. That means that on October 26, 2020 at 7:30 PM we will once again meet at the Elks Lodge on Richmond Ave. Please keep in mind that all COVID-19 pandemic guidelines will be enforced. You will not be allowed in without a mask. There will be a sanitizing station set up as you enter, and all chairs will be set up for social distancing.
If you feel you’re not ready to step out and come to the meeting I fully understand and will keep you informed of all that transpired through the Chapter’s website.
After careful consideration, the Chapter’s Board has agreed to cancel October’s Jay O’Donovan Golf outing. COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, participation, and safety concerns contributed to this decision.
And now for some more good news. Our new monuments, The History of Vietnam and the Agent Orange are complete and will be installed by the end of September. To commemorate this, we will have a small dedication service sometime in October. We will be sending out emails to all to confirm the date and time and once again we will follow all COVID-19 pandemic guidelines. Please keep checking those emails.
