  • The healthiest nation in the world is Spain.  It took the top spot on the Bloomberg 2019 Healthiest Country Index with a grade of 92.75 out of a possible 100.  Second was Italy at 91.59, followed by Iceland at 91.44.  The U.S. was number 35 on the list, with a score of 73.02.  Scores are based on life expectancy, health, environment, tobacco use, and other factors.  Bloomberg.com
